The next LIACS meeting will be held on Sunday, November 20th at 1:00 PM at the Celtic Center at 1285 Manheim Pike, Lancaster 17601.

Quarterly Meeting and Program “Our Irish Ancestors: An Overview of History, Genealogy Research and Immigrant Experiences” with speakers from among our LIACS membership; open to the public

As usual, if you are able, please consider bringing a canned item or two for the food drive in which we participate for the Lancaster Food Hub.

Snacks and soft drinks will be provided at the meeting and if you have a thirst for an adult beverage you can bring that with you.

We will be having our monthly Happy Hour on Wednesday, November 16 from 4pm - 6pm at the Fireside Tavern. Would love to see you there for some craic. Stop by for something to drink if you have a thirst, to eat if you're hungry, and to converse if you have the gift of gab or if you are in anyway full of blarney. Hope to see you there. Please let Kathy know if you can attend just so we can arrange appropriate seating for our clan.

The next Ceili Dance Session will be held on Monday, November 7th at Tellus 360 in Lancaster at 5:30 PM. Sessions are led by our own Joan Benjamin. If you will be a returning participant then come back in and keep on dancing. If you are new to the program or interested in participating then please come on down to see how it is done. It is a low impact, fun event, led with instruction to help you get started or to help you improve on what you have already learned. Small fee to pay instructor Joan for her time. $5 pp
